Terms

Who we are
These terms apply when you order from Lux Furniture Gallery on our website or create an account on it. "We," "us" and "our" mean Lux Furniture Gallery, the business that sells your order. By placing an order or creating an account, you agree to these terms. Our privacy notice explains how we handle your information.
Our website and online ordering are run for us by Stream, our technology provider. Stream doesn't sell or deliver your order and isn't part of your purchase.
Your order
- Placing an order. When you place an order, you offer to buy what's in it, and we accept it when we confirm it by email or on the order page. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is no longer available, a price shown was wrong, or the order looks fraudulent. If we cancel an order you paid for, we refund it. An order that isn't paid for within an hour is cancelled.
- Products and prices. We try to keep our descriptions, photos, sizes and prices right, but mistakes happen. Colors and finishes look different on different screens, a photo may show an item in another finish or with things that aren't included, and sizes are approximate. Our prices online may differ from our prices in the store. If we find a price mistake after you order, we'll contact you before going ahead, or cancel the order and refund it.
- What you pay. You pay the full price when you order. Before you pay, checkout shows your total, with tax, any delivery fee and any discounts.
- In stock and special orders. An item we have in stock is set aside for you once your order is paid. An item we don't have in stock is a special order: we order it for you from its maker, and the time we show for it is based on the maker's estimate.
- If your order will be late. If we can't deliver your order or have it ready by the time we showed (or within 30 days, if we showed no time), we'll tell you before then, with a new date if we have one, and you can choose to wait or to cancel for a full refund.
- When ordering is paused. Online ordering may be paused at times, for example when we're closed or busy.
Getting your order
- Delivery: we'll call you to set a delivery day. We, or a delivery company we hire, bring your order to the address you give, within the area our checkout accepts and for the delivery fee it shows. Give a correct address and phone number. Someone 18 or older needs to be there to receive it. Before you order, please measure the doors, halls, stairs and elevators it has to fit through.
- Pickup: we'll call you when your order is ready, to tell you where to pick it up and set a time. Please bring a vehicle big enough to carry it.
- Checking your order: please look your order over when you receive it, and tell us right away, before the delivery team leaves if you can, about anything damaged or missing, or any damage to your home.
If you can't be there for your delivery, or come for your pickup, at the time we arranged, call us as soon as you can.
Paying
You pay when you order, by card, or with Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link where checkout offers them. The charge comes from us, and Stripe processes it for us, so we never see your full card number. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may cancel the order.
Changes, cancellations and refunds
- Changing or cancelling. Online orders can't be changed or cancelled on our website, so call us at 571-459-2333 as soon as you can. A special order is ordered from its maker for you, so once we've placed it, we may not be able to change or cancel it, except as "If your order will be late" says.
- Something damaged, wrong or missing. Tell us as soon as you can after you receive it. We'll make it right by repairing or replacing the item or refunding part or all of the order, as we decide and as the law requires.
- Returns. Whether we can take an item back, and how, follows our return policy on our Store policies page, which checkout links to before you pay. Items marked final sale can't be returned.
- Refunds. A refund goes back to the card, bank account or wallet you paid with, and your bank usually takes 5 to 10 business days to show it.
- Questions about a charge. If a charge looks wrong, please contact us first. We can usually fix it faster than your bank.
Warranties
Many products come with their maker's warranty. The maker gives it, under its own terms, and we'll help you make a claim. A protection plan you buy with a product comes from the plan's provider, under its own terms. Nothing in these terms takes away a warranty the law gives you.
Your account
- Give correct details, keep your password private, and tell us right away if you think someone else is using your account. You're responsible for orders placed with it.
- You must be at least 13 to create an account, and if you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
- We may suspend or close an account that's used for fraud or abuse, or in breach of these terms. You can ask us to close your account at any time, as our privacy notice explains.
Using our website
Please don't misuse our website: no fake or fraudulent orders, no attempts to get around its security or limits, and no automated tools that copy it or overload it. Our name, logo, photos and product text belong to us or to the people we license them from. Our website may sometimes be slow or unavailable.
Responsibility
- Ours. We're responsible for the products and service we provide, as the law requires. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim about an order is limited to what you paid for that order, and we're not responsible for indirect losses.
- Stream's. Stream only provides the technology for our website and ordering, and it isn't responsible for our products, our service or anything we do. As far as the law allows, Stream's total responsibility to you for anything to do with our website is limited to $50, and Stream isn't responsible for indirect losses. Stream may enforce these terms as if it were a party to them.
- What these terms don't limit. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility for illness or injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow to be limited, and nothing in them takes away a right you have under consumer protection law.
Disputes
If you have a problem, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. These terms are governed by the laws of the state where our business is located. You can always bring a claim in small claims court.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms by posting a new version here with a new date. A change applies to orders placed after it's posted.
